Our journey started with the brand Bah Bet in 2018. Bah Bet was started with cane and bamboo handicrafts and home décor items. \Bamboo and cane are fast growing species that mature in 4-5 years. Cane and bamboo are indigenous to the Southeast Asian region. Products made of cane and bamboo have a highly positive impact on the environment by reducing the carbon footprint and having minimal impact on the environment post its usable life cycle. Assam has a wide variety of cane and bamboo variants that are naturally available. Use of bamboo as a construction material can be traced back as far as the history of this region goes. Cane handicraft items can be traced back to the time of the Ahoms in Assam. In modern times, with growing concerns for the environment and climate, the use of cane and bamboo has seen acceptance all over the world. However modern times also seek advancement in product design and consistency in quality. This was our aim at Bah Bet.

As we interacted with our customers, we felt a larger problem of sustainable sourcing of products for our day-to-day products. This has now become more imminent with growing climate change and environmental degradation. To be more inclusive in our products we started the brand JPRmart. We had already started our journey in the furniture and home décor segment and we wanted to extend it to the food we eat. These two components are vital to our day to day life and our journey started around this segment. Our vision at JPRMart is to transform your shopping experience by providing accessible, high quality food, furniture and home décor items that nourish people, protect the planet and elevate everyday life.
